Seven West Media Group is Australia's largest diversified media business, formed by the sale of Seven Media Group to West Australian Newspapers Holdings Limited (WAN). It has a leading presence in broadcast television, radio, newspaper publishing, magazine publishing and online.
Seven Group Holdings is Seven West Media's largest shareholder with 35.3% of Seven West Media shares and $250m in Seven West Media Convertible Preference Shares (CPS).
Seven West Media owns two of Australia's iconic media assets: Australia's largest commercial television network (by audience and advertising market share), Seven Network; and The West Australian, the leading metropolitan newspaper in Western Australia.
It also owns the second largest publisher of magazines in Australia, Pacific Magazines, and 21 West Australian regional newspapers, nine regional radio licences, a specialist publishing business and WAN's digital division.
Seven West Media is also creating a significant presence in online and new communications technologies, such as through its 50% interest in Yahoo!7, one of Australia and New Zealand's leading online platforms, with global and local content across online, mobile and IPTV.
Seven West Media is expanding its presence in the further delivery of its video and publishing content beyond its three digital broadcast channels and across an array of platforms, including Hybrid Broadband Broadcast Television and the Presto SVOD joint venture with Foxtel.

Seven West Media is focused on enhancing its presence in the creation and distribution of content across multiple delivery platforms. The company offers:
- Business diversification across a range of media formats including Australia's leading FTA television network, the second largest magazine group in Australia by readership and one of Australia and New Zealand's leading online platforms;
- Geographic diversification with operations covering all major Australian metropolitan markets and, when arrangements with regional affiliates are included reaching the majority of Australia's population;
- Digital multi-channelling and online properties that provide new growth avenues and opportunities to access and deploy content across different formats, from magazines to newspapers to online sites.
